The meeting was called to order at 9:05 AM.

The items on the agenda were as follows:

Review resumes of applicants for the position of Selectboard Assistant/Interview of applicant Dean Bloch

Motion made by Paul Arthaud, seconded by Ellie Russell:

“To go into executive session to discuss the selectboard assistant position”.

Vote: all in favor.

Dean Bloch joined the Selectboard at approximately 9:25 AM.

Motion made by Ellie Russell and seconded by Paul Arthaud:

“To come out of executive session”.

Vote: all in favor.

The September 22 Selectboard meeting will be at 7:30 PM. Items on the agenda include discussion of Varney Farm and hiring of selectboard assistant.

Ellie Russell reported that Phyllis Lary has volunteered to help organize the selectboard office. Ellie will work with her, and with Charles on this. Selectboard members agreed that this would be a great help.
